The Purificare Infinity Hybrid
Sediment/Carbon Pre-Filter (F2) is the primary stage-one defensive cartridge for the tankless Purificare Infinity Reverse Osmosis system.

Because the Infinity is a compact, direct-flow unit, it relies on this specialized 2-in-1 hybrid design to complete the work that traditionally required two separate canisters.

Its main job is to strip out aggressive chemical compounds and heavy debris before the water reaches the delicate RO membrane, preventing premature clogging and system failure.

Dual-Action Engineering
The F2 cartridge is split into two distinct, concentric filtration layers within a single housing.

The Outer Layer (Sediment Barrier):
Features a pleated or graded-density polypropylene wrap that traps physical particles like rust, dirt, sand, slit, and pipe scale.

The Inner Core (Activated Carbon Block):
Contains highly porous, compressed activated carbon. This layer adsorbs dissolved gases, harsh chloring, chloramines, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), agricultural pesticides, and unpleasant tastes or odors.
